Priced over MSRP!!!!

Why does this store charge customers over MSRP on things like Specialized mountain cycling shoes? We confirmed with the sales rep in the store the price of $129.00 (=MSRP) and purchased shoes. Then when we got home the actual charged price on the reciept was $131!!!!!!! before tax while other local stores have the same shoes for $109. Be careful of over inflated prices at this place. Other stores in the area like City Bicycle Works are reasonably priced and offer things like 1 year of bike tuning with a bike purchase (instead of this stores 90 days - I recently got my bike (which I purchased at this estabishment) tuned in the 90 day window and the receipt says how I "saved" $70 - - does my wife free YEAR of tuning at City Bicycle Works mean she saved $70 x 4 = $360 = half the price of her bike? of course not - I guess great marketing but not good for the consumer). We are not against a reasonable profit. This store had things priced higher than the web site of the distributor (like Specialized with free shipping) - BEWARE and shop around!!!

They will help repair your bike. The service is fairly efficient. I needed a new chain on my bike. They fixed it within a day. They also have accessories and different types of bikes to purchase. The store is clean and well organized. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is parking available in front of the store.
